One-Day Hike to Zelené Pleso (Green Lake), Slovakia

Cross the border and explore the High Tatras in Slovakia! Join us for a breathtaking one-day hiking adventure to Zelené Pleso (Green Lake) – one of the most stunning alpine lakes in the region, surrounded by dramatic peaks and pure natural beauty.

We’ll begin the day with a scenic drive from Krakow across the Slovak border to the High Tatras National Park. Our goal? The magical Zelené Pleso – a crystal-clear mountain lake nestled at the foot of towering cliffs. The hike to the lake is moderate and beginner-friendly, with well-marked trails, peaceful forest paths, and panoramic mountain views along the way. The trail is around 3 hr one way. Expect a mix of nature, fresh mountain air, and plenty of photo opportunities!

At the lake, we’ll take a well-deserved break – you can relax by the water, snap amazing photos, or grab a bite at the cozy mountain hut located right by the lake. After soaking in the alpine vibes, we’ll head back the same trail and return to Krakow in the evening.
